Privacy policy
In line with the GDPR and applicable data-protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
UKFans is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We process it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect and why
We collect only what you choose to send us: the name, email address and message you enter in the Contact form, and the profile details creators submit through the Add profile form. Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs used solely to keep the site running and secure.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the directory for technical logs. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where the law requires it.
Cookies and the age gate
UKFans sets a strictly necessary cookie to remember that you have confirmed you are 18 or over, plus basic aggregate visit statistics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Listing details remain published until the creator asks for removal, after which they are deleted from the directory.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, and to restrict or object to its processing. Send any request via the Contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority.
